Join our Team as an IT Support Engineer

About the role:
Are you a tech-savvy problem solver with a passion for IT support? As an IT Support Specialist at Onecom, you'll manage, troubleshoot, and resolve tickets across IT and WAN products and services. You'll ensure high levels of internal customer satisfaction and proactively maintain our IT systems.
What makes you a great fit:
- Good technical knowledge and experience of IT environments
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft-based operating systems, particularly Windows desktop technologies
- Ability to troubleshoot Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, and Outlook) and Office 365
- Basic understanding of PC hardware setup and configuration
- Ability to provide advice to non-technical users
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy

Key responsibilities:
- Manage, troubleshoot, and resolve service tickets across IT and WAN products and services
- Handle desktop and laptop installation, configuration, and support
- Provide network support
- Install, configure, and support software
- Use remote management solutions to resolve service tickets
- Deliver high levels of internal customer satisfaction
- Proactively use service boards to prioritise cases in line with SLAs
- Provide regular communication and support to customers via email, telephone, and service tickets
- Use carrier portals to raise and escalate support queries
- Ensure customer information is tracked and updated in the company system
- Communicate and escalate with carriers and suppliers
- Support and maintain relationships with internal teams
- Monitor systems for alerts
- Proactively update and maintain existing IT systems
- Participate in technical projects for technology deployments and upgrades
- Perform any other duties as required by the line manager
