About the role:
Step into a pivotal leadership role where you’ll run Onecom’s Offshore Data & Analytics Delivery Hub and shape how high‑quality insights, reporting, and data solutions land across the business. You’ll own the delivery engine that powers BAU reporting, KPI analytics, and data migrations—ensuring predictable output, strong technical standards, and a smooth onshore–offshore partnership. What makes you a great fit:
Experience leading an offshore or nearshore analytics/data delivery team
Strong delivery management skills: backlog ownership, prioritisation, estimation, dependency management, and clear communication
Confident in implementing QA processes, documentation standards, and repeatable delivery practices
Hands-on technical grounding across SQL/BigQuery, dbt, Python automation, and Power BI
Skilled at managing stakeholder expectations and communicating progress, risks, and requirements
Able to coach analysts, set goals, and build capability in analytics and data engineering
Comfortable working with structured governance (change requests, project planning, PMO principles)
Degree or equivalent experience in data/analytics, computer science, engineering, or similar
Key responsibilities:
Lead and run the Offshore Data & Analytics Delivery Hub, ensuring predictable, high‑quality output across BAU reporting, KPI analytics, and data migrations
Own the offshore delivery plan and run a weekly rhythm including intake, prioritisation, sprint/kanban planning, and delivery reviews
Allocate work effectively across the analyst team, manage dependencies, and ensure commitments are met
Implement QA gates for datasets and reports, including data checks, peer review, UAT support, and performance validation
Drive documentation, runbooks, change control, and repeatable processes to ensure outputs are auditable and consistent
Provide hands‑on technical oversight across BigQuery/SQL, dbt modelling, Python automation, and Power BI
Triage technical blockers, drive root‑cause fixes, and ensure operational monitoring and alerting are in place
Act as the onshore‑facing lead for the offshore hub: clarify requirements, manage expectations, communicate progress, and support UAT/sign‑off
Partner with Commercial Finance, Revenue Assurance, Product, and Operations to ensure smooth delivery and alignment
Line‑manage and develop a team of analysts, setting goals, coaching on standards, and building capability in analytics consulting and data engineering
Foster a high‑performing, inclusive team culture and escalate issues or risks promptly to ensure strong outcomes for Onecom
